3D Xrays

Cone Beam CT allows dentists to see your teeth and jaws in a three dimensional view. Like a mini CT scan of your jaw this allows dentists to see and catch things earlier. This also allows dentist to digital plan treatment such as dental implant placement, segment a patient’s airway to screen for sleep disordered breathing, visualize the nasal septum and sinus cavities. Dentists are trained in how to screen this volume of information. Because this produces a large volume of information, If something appears that they are unsure of, an anomaly, a potential pathology etc, the scan can be uploaded to be read and interpreted by a Dental Radiologist.
